The Board of Education of the Scarsdale Union Free School District will hold the following meetings on Monday, August 24, 2026, in Room 170-172 at Scarsdale High School, 2 Brewster Road, unless noted otherwise.
At 6:00 p.m., the Board will conduct a Public Hearing on the District-wide Safety and Emergency Management Plan. At the conclusion of the Public Hearing, the Board will convene a Business meeting.
Highlights of the Business Meeting agenda include the following:
Cabinet Updates; A Consent Agenda, including a Personnel Report; Information and Discussion items, including a Treasurer’s report, budget transfers, a review of the renewal of stop-loss insurance for 2026-27, STI courses for the fall, proposed new textbooks, revisions to Article 35 & 36 of the STA contract, policy review including the first reading of Policy 2210 - Board Organizational Meeting, the second readings of Policy 6670 - Petty Cash/Petty Cash Accounts, Policy 7335 - Change Order Policy, and Regulation 2160-R School District Ethics, a Board discussion on its 2026-27 goals, the Superintendent evaluation template, and summer work, and follow-up discussions regarding the Draft Guidelines for Student Expression at School-Sponsored Activities, gift procedures, and gift proposals exceeding $1,000.00; and Action items including budget transfers, the renewal of stop-loss insurance for the 2026-27 school year, proposed new textbooks, revisions to Article 35 & 36 of the STA contract, Policy 6670 and 7335, and Regulation 2160-R, the 2026-27 District-wide Safety and Emergency Management Plan, and gift proposals to Fox Meadow, Heathcote and Quaker Ridge Elementary Schools.
