Scarsdale High School

Signifer is Scarsdale High School’s honor society as well as an important resource for students seeking academic support.

Signifer offers:

• drop-in homework help in the library during 7th period on Mondays & Wednesdays
• free, subject-specific 1:1 tutoring with a Signifer member during a free period (to request a tutor please fill out the form below)

To be inducted as a Signifer member during junior year a student must have a minimum of an unrounded 3.70 grade point average, a record of participation in at least three school or volunteer community activities, and have completed two years at SHS.  

Signifer inductees are expected to provide academic tutoring and to participate in other service projects sponsored by the organization throughout their tenure as members.
