To register existing clubs for the 2026 – 2027 academic year, this form must be completed by Tuesday, September 22^nd.

Approval Process for Hallway Signs/Posters/Displays  

General Information: The Scarsdale High School student handbook requires that all signs/posters displayed publicly must first be approved by the building administration.  

Process for Approval: Extracurricular Student Organizations

• Clubs and organizations who wish to post signs advertising meetings or events must first bring the sign(s) to the Assistant Principal for Student Life’s office (Room 326) for approval.
• Signs will be stamped as approved for posting or returned if modifications are required. 
• After approval, only 25 signs with the approval stamp can be displayed.
  • Option 1 - bring 25 copies to be each stamped for approval.
  • Option 2 - bring 1 sign and copy it after it is stamped.
• Please allow sufficient time for signs to be approved (at least 2 days).
• Organizations must follow the guidelines for hallway displays as set forth by the Student Activities office. Questions regarding these guidelines should be directed to the School Government office in Room 362. 

• There is only one new club application period each academic year, and it occurs in the fall semester.
• Only current 10^th and 11^th graders may apply to start a new club.
• New club applications for the 2026-2027 school year will be available here from Friday, October 9 through Friday, October 30, 2026.  All new applications must be completed and submitted prior to midnight on Friday, October 30, 2026.
• Potential new club advisors must be SHS faculty members and may not be advisors of existing clubs.  The advisor form will be posted here when applications become available.
