A. Yearbook meets every Wednesday in room 1N7. If you are interested in joining yearbook, you can simply show up on Wednesdays, or feel free to email Ms. Stacey Dawes sdawes@scarsdaleschools.org for information

A. Yearbooks can be purchased at the Yearbook Order Center.  The school's order number is 4750.

A.  Create and purchase your ad online by using Varsity's online Ad creation.

      STEP 1:Visit the Yearbook Order Center

      STEP 2: Select “Yearbook Ads” at the top of the page

      STEP 3: Select the ad type you want and follow the directions.

A.  Senior Ads are found at the back of the yearbook. They are a paid tribute to graduating seniors from their parents or family members, and are a way to celebrate the student's hard work, accomplishments, and high school graduation. The first deadline for ads is October 1st, 2025, no later than midnight; however, ads can still be purchased after midnight, with a late fee assessed, until October 15th, by midnight. October 15th is the final deadline. Ads cannot be purchased after October 15th.

A.  Below are examples of senior ads as they appear in the 2025 yearbook.

A.  On November 18th any student who would like to have their picture retaken or did not take a picture at Freshman Orientation can report to The Little Theater, from 8 am to 12 pm or during the lunch period to have their photo taken.  Students can also have their picture taken during Common Tutorial.  If you would like to have your student’s photo retaken (there will be a $5 fee).  Additionally, you will need to bring the previously purchased photo package.  Please complete the  form and bring it to the Retake Picture Day.

If this is a retake, the student must pay the $5 sitting fee and return the photo package that was mailed home in order to have their picture retaken.

A.  Picture Day for 10^th & 11^th graders will be either October 8^th or 9^h. Students will take their photo during their English class and the teacher will inform them of the specific day. Information about how to purchase student photos will be sent home via email.

• Enter the child's first and last name, select package and checkout. 
• Please note this site is open now and will remain open until October 22^nd.

Once an order is placed

• You will receive an email receipt with order number and details from the photography company.
• The photography company can only send to one email address per student so please check all guardian email accounts for this message.
• Prepay orders will be mailed from the studio to the address provided to the company.

*Robert Taylor offers the 3rd child free package for underclassmen only (9th, 10th and 11th graders).   Once you add all three children to the prepay cart and proceed to checkout, the 3rd child's prepay package will appear as “free. This offer only applies if you prepay. Note that 10th and 11th grade Picture Day will be in October.

A.  A baby picture submission is a picture of the senior when they were a baby (from infancy to ~2 years of age).

STEP 3: Upload baby picture

STEP 4: Crop + Confirm Crop

STEP 5: Select "Baby Pictures" for grade

STEP 6: Enter first and last name of the student

STEP 7: Submit Photo

You will receive the confirmation that your baby photo has been uploaded successfully. Please do not email the yearbook adviser to confirm upload. 

A. The senior portrait is taken by the school's photographer, Robert Taylor Photography. Pictures will be taken in The Little Theater on December 9, 10, 11, 12, and the16th by appointment only.  The SignUpGenius invitation to make an appointment will be made available in November.  SignUpGenius is the process that is used to schedule the appointment for senior portraits.

LAST OPPORTUNITY to take the senior portrait is January 7th 2025.

A.  A throwback picture is a photo of a group (2 or more) of seniors from their elementary or middle school years.  These pictures could be from a field trip, for example.

To upload no more than 3 pictures*, use this link.  

Be certain to indicate  "throwbacks" for the description.

You will receive the confirmation that your baby photo has been uploaded successfully. Please do not email the yearbook adviser to confirm upload. 

*space is limited and we try to accomodate as many different students as possible.

A.  Select the pose that is a vertical shot. Your head and shoulders are the only body parts that can appear in the photo. Be certain the picture does not show your hands. Please note, the cap and gown photo, if taken, is not an option for the yearbook, as they are not processed by the company in time for the yearbook deadline.

A.  When the time comes, you will access the site (this information will be given on the day of your picture).  Once on the site, you will need to:

• Select "Photography Services" at the top of the page
• Select "Seniors," select "View/Order Pictures" 
• Use the Personal Pin listed for Scarsdale
• Click the "Continue" button
• "Heart" the image you want to use
• Finalize your selection at the bottom of the page by selecting the box asking you to confirm your picture choice
