A. Yearbook meets every Wednesday in room 1N7. If you are interested in joining yearbook, you can simply show up on Wednesdays, or feel free to email Ms. Stacey Dawes sdawes@scarsdaleschools.org for information
A. Yearbooks can be purchased at the Yearbook Order Center. The school's order number is 4750.
A. A senior quote can (but doesn't have to) thank friends, family, teachers, include a significant quotation that characterizes your philosophy or your years at SHS. You can also write a final goodbye to the school - regardless of your choice, you must follow the rules below, or it will be edited or deleted by the yearbook adviser and administration. A. The senior portrait is taken by the school's photographer, Robert Taylor Photography. Pictures will be taken in The Little Theater on December 9, 10, 11, 12, and the16th by appointment only.
LAST OPPORTUNITY to take the senior portrait is January 7th 2025.
A. Select the pose that is a vertical shot. Your head and shoulders are the only body parts that can appear in the photo. Be certain the picture does not show your hands.

A. Senior Ads are found at the back of the yearbook. They are a paid tribute to graduating seniors from their parents or family members, and are a way to celebrate the student's hard work, accomplishments, and high school graduation. The first deadline for ads is October 1st, 2024, no later than midnight; however, ads can still be purchased after midnight, with a late fee assessed, until October 30th, by midnight. October 30th is the final deadline. Ads cannot be purchased after October 30th.

A. Create and purchase your ad online by using Varsity's online Ad creation.
STEP 1:Visit the Yearbook Order Center

STEP 3: Select the "Yearbook Ads" tab at the top of the page.
STEP 4: Select the ad type you want and follow the directions.
A. On November 18th any student who would like to have their picture retaken or did not take a picture at Freshman Orientation can report to The Little Theater, from 8 am to 12 pm or during the lunch period to have their photo taken. Students can also have their picture taken during Common Tutorial. If you would like to have your student’s photo retaken (there will be a $5 fee). Additionally, you will need to bring the previously purchased photo package. Please complete the form and bring it to the Retake Picture Day.
If this is a retake, the student must pay the $5 sitting fee and return the photo package that was mailed home in order to have their picture retaken.
A. If you are interested in purchasing pictures for your student(s)*:
*Robert Taylor offers the 3rd child free package for underclassmen only (9th, 10th and 11th graders). Once you add all three children to the prepay cart and proceed to checkout, the 3rd child's prepay package will appear as “free. This offer only applies if you prepay. Note that 10th and 11th grade Picture Day will be in October.
A. Picture Day for 10th & 11th graders will be either October 9th or 10th. Students will take their photo during their English class and the teacher will inform them of the specific day.
A. A baby picture submission is a picture of the senior when they were a baby (from infancy to ~3 years of age).

STEP 6: Select "Baby Pictures" for grade

You will receive the confirmation that your baby photo has been uploaded successfully. Please do not email the yearbook adviser to confirm upload.
