2026-27 Proposed Budget

The proposed budget continues to fund our foundational educational priorities by maintaining small elementary class sizes, the house and team models at the Middle School, and robust course offerings matched to student interest at the High School. In addition, some of the priorities the budget and bond propositions also support include:

Program Improvement: Continued adjustments to our elementary math program, development of performance-based assessments, support for global learning opportunities, and collaborative inquiry through the Center for Inquiry and Innovation (CFII).

Student Well-being: Support for continued Responsive Classroom training, and the next phase of our playground plan to replace end of life equipment (Heathcote Elementary).

Transportation Investments: Replacement of 12 gas-powered buses and continued progress toward the deployment of electric vehicles with a new EV Minibus and electric SUV.

Capital Projects Bond: A multi-year investment in facilities and infrastructure across all 7 schools to modernize and strengthen the high-quality learning environments our students deserve.
