It’s hard to believe the Spring season is winding down, and some teams are already in the postseason. Some updates on our Spring teams:
The Boys Tennis team won the League Championship! They began their Sectional Tournament this past weekend at Harrison High School. Jack Reis was the number one seed and had a bye for the first round of the individual tournament. He then beat his next two opponents 6-0, 6-0. The doubles teams of Dylan Pai/Lucas Yao and Mark Ha/Charlie Robinson are also still in the competition after three rounds. They all resume play today at 4:30.
The Baseball team won its first-round playoff game on Saturday, defeating Port Chester 13-3. They advance to play at John Jay East Fishkill on Tuesday. Also, congratulations to Gil Krausz, who was named the League Pitcher of the Year!
Our Girls Golf team also won their league! Both the Girls and Boys Golf teams begin their Sectional Tournaments today. The girls tee off at The Links at Unionvale while the boys play at Tamarack Golf Club.
The Flag Football team earned the number one seed in Class A again this year. They had a bye for the first round of Sectionals and will play Yonkers in the quarterfinals at home on Wednesday, May 20 at 5:00. Be there!
Our list of League Champions continues to grow as both the Boys and Girls Track and Field teams came out on top this season. Their Section One meet will be Saturday, May 30th at 10:00 am at Arlington High School.
The Softball team finished its regular season with a win at Ossining on Friday. They will know their postseason plans on Tuesday.
Both the Boys and Girls Lacrosse teams also finished their regular seasons on Friday. We will know their postseason schedule on Wednesday.
Crew competed at the New York State Championships on May 9th and 10th in Saratoga. The Novice Girls Coxed Four, including Rhea Sitaula and Katherine Hui, took home gold! The Boys Novice Coxed 8 also won their event, and that boat included Aarav Dhaliwal and Rylan Shetty. The Girls Varsity 8 medaled with a bronze, narrowly missing silver by 0.8 seconds. That boat includes Soula Scarpelli and Emily Schulmann, and their finish qualifies them for Nationals. The Boys Varsity 8 finished fourth, so Alex Sharp will also go to Nationals. Congratulations to all!
Ultimate Frisbee competed at the Pioneer Valley Invitational in Massachusetts this past weekend and won the event! After two days and six matches, the team came out on top of the Open - B Division. Congratulations to them!
The Spring BBQ hosted by Maroon and White will be on Tuesday, June 2 at 5:30 at the Brewster Road entrance. It will be followed by the awards ceremony in the auditorium. Athletes from all sports and all seasons are invited. Please register at this link.
Our Strength and Conditioning program has a summer session. The fitness center will be open Mondays through Thursdays from June 29 through August 20. 3:30-5:30 sessions are for rising 9th graders only. Freshman students do not have to be part of any athletics team to participate. The 4:30-6:30 session is for rising 10th through 12th graders who are interscholastic athletes. All sessions include strength and speed training. This should be considered a training program and not a drop-in workout. No pre-registration is necessary, and the program is overseen by our Strength and Conditioning Coaches. Please take advantage of this amazing opportunity.
Fall sports parent informational meetings will be held from June 15-17. The schedule is available at this link. Football starts on Monday, August 17. All other sports start on Monday, August 24. If your child plans to participate in cheerleading, they will attend camp from Saturday, August 22 through Tuesday, August 25. The girls volleyball team will also have a camp prior to the official start of the season. Sports offered by season and future start dates can be found at this link.
Please Vote on Tuesday! The annual budget vote, bond vote, and board election is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, from 7 AM to 9 PM at Scarsdale Middle School in the Gymnasium. There is parking available all day near the lower circle.
Lastly, I would like to thank Maroon and White for their generous donation of the new scoreboard on Butler Field. It looks fantastic and has significantly enhanced the game-day experience for our teams.

Please reach out with any questions.
Sincerely,
Cindy Parrott
Athletic Director
